| Opening at 11.00am, Saturday 2nd October at the Oxford Union, Oxford, the fifth 2000 AD convention promises to be the very best yet.
From autograph signings to debates, master classes in comic artistry and writing, back progs, books, RPGs and merchandise, the Oxford Union will be awash with all things 2000 AD!
John Wagner, Carlos Ezquerra and Ian Gibson will again grace us with their company, ready to meet fans and answer questions. In addition, we have attending (in alphabetical order): Charlie Adlard, Laurence Campbell, Simon Coleby, Mike Collins, Boo Cook, Simon Davis, Rufus Dayglo, Ian Edginton, Richard Elson, Al Ewing, Brett Ewins, Patrick Goddard, Frazer Irving, Colin MacNeil, Robbie Morrison, Gordon Rennie, Steve Roberts, Siku, Simon Spurrier, Cam Smith, Dylan Teague, Rob Williams and Steve Yeowell.
They will be hosting a number of our Starter and Master classes in comic production to budding artists and writers wanting to break into the industry. For those who have taken their first step already, Matt Smith and Alan Barnes, the Editors of 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine, are on hand to view work and offer advice and guidance.
Our special event will be â??The Big Debateâ??, where our illustrious Panel (to be announced on the day) will be on hand for a full Q&A.
For the latter part of the convention, we will have â??Things to come in 2005â??, where both Editors will announce their exciting line-up for 2000 AD and the Megazine in 2005.
To conclude this session, we are proud to announce the first showing of the forthcoming â??Rogue Trooperâ?? computer game currently in development with Rebellion. This is the world exclusive.
As before, the public and food bar (at exceptionally reasonable prices) is open to all attendees wanting to relax after enjoying the 2000 AD experience.
