William Whitlock AKA Maximan
	Aided by defecting Nazi scientists, UK government scientists led by Dr Peyne were able to turn William Whitlock into the UK’s first superhuman. Maximan led the Allied Forces to victory in many battles during WW2 until he was killed in Berlin in 1945 by a US atom bomb, which also killed Nazi superhuman Masterman. He has a memorial statue erected in Westminster Square.
