Dr Michael Peyne
	‘Father’ of superhumanity, Dr Michael Peyne developed and perfected the Maximan serum, which could create superhumans. After WW2 and Maximan’s death, he decided that the human race was too currupt for its own good and set about trying to create a replacement superhuman race. He created the group of superhumans
	that became know as Cloud 9, winning 1964 Nobel Peace Prize for ‘Engenetics’ along the way. Following the break- up and apparent loss of powers of all the Cloud 9 members he continued his project funded by Wallace International, cloning two more superhumans: Shockwave and Blaze. He gets them to breed with Zenith to continue the growth of the superhuman population. When the majority of Cloud 9 reform as Horus to take over the world, they let Peyne remain as the only human in the now superhuman world. They make him grow younger every day, until he finally regresses past the foetal stage and disappears. His life memoirs are recorded in his journal entitled: ‘Seizing the Fire’ (unpublished).
