Peter St John AKA Mandala

Born in 1945 as part of Dr Peyne’s Tygers project to create superhumans, Peter St John has strong telekinetic powers. He was a member of Cloud 9 in the 1960s until he appeared to have lost his superpowers following an illness in 1969. He had disagreed with the majority of the group about ‘The Plan’. By 1987 he had become the Conservative Member of Parliament for Hertfordshire South and in June that year after averting the Masterman situation he became Defence Minister in the Cabinet. In 1988 he aided Zenith to prevent a terrorist attack on London and in 1989 he aided Hotspur’s group of superheroes in the mission to Alternative 257. By 1992 he had become Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. In July that year he won his first General Election as PM, on the back of stopping the superhuman ‘Horus’ group taking over the world.
