London: July 4, 1992: Things are going pretty well for Zenith, who is currently number one in both the album and singles pop charts, on the cover of the NME, Melody Maker and Vox and, although he claims it’s “strictly platonic,” has been going out with Naomi Campbell. Meanwhile, Lux, Spook and Ruby have formed a political group called ‘Horus,’ campaigning for “super-human solutions to human problems.” Zenith goes to talk with Peter at 10 Downing Street; he doesn’t trust Horus and thinks they’re trying to implement ‘The Plan’ they devised while still known as Cloud 9. St John tells him that he’s made contact with Chimera, who is still a scale universe shaped as a small glass pyramid. He thinks Chimera may be able to help them. He then answers the door. Horus have arrived for the meeting.
