London: February 9, 1988: Peter St John is worried: the missiles fly tomorrow and he doesn’t know what to do, they can’t find the submarine and they don’t know who is behind the threats.
Schiehallion, Scotland: February 9, 1988: Peyne is coaching Zenith in his superhuman abilities, saying that as he is the first thoroughbred superhuman and his capabilities could be almost limitless; Zenith has now at least mastered the art of pyrokenesis. Peyne then explains to Zenith that he wants to wipe the earth clean of humanity, that has caused so much destruction and pollution of the planet, and start again with superhumans: he wants Zenith to breed. He leaves Zenith with Shockwave & Blaze and goes to talk with Scott, who is watching Zenith getting down to it with the girls on his CCTV monitor. According to Zenith’s bio-rhythm chart, his powers will be at there lowest the following day, when the missiles are launched, and that is when they plan to kill him.
