Epilogue: Rumours of War - 2000AD prog 606

Ayers Rock, Australia: February 14, 1988: Ruby, Lux and Spook are gathered round an Einstein-Rosen Bridge, a psychically generated sphere used to travel between Alternatives. It glows brighter and three superhumans come through from Alternative 5: Domino, DJ Chill and Mantra. They bring with them the news that Alternative 257 has been lost, and that Hotspur was occupied. Suddenly, the Bridge explodes, and a charred skeletal superhuman (Jimmy Quick) comes through. As he dies, he passes them a small coin-sized disk. “A love letter from the Lloigor. They’ve found us,” says Spook, “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
