Alternate 666: March 13, 1989: The group are still running. Mr Why catches up with Springheeled Jock. Jock’s dog Bobbie bites Mr Why and he knocks the dog away, killing it. The other Lloigor turns up and throws a van on top of Jock killing him. Ben then hurls a jet plane at the Lloigor superhumans, stopping but not killing them.
The surviving superhumans regroup. Lux convinces them that the only thing they can do to stop the Lloigor is to destroy the world with the Chaostructor bomb. Domino erects an Einstein- Rosen bridge. However, there is a problem with the timer on the bomb; someone will have to stay behind and activate it manually.
