Alternative 257: March 14, 1989: Electrogirl tries to appeal to Electroman to shake off his Lloigor possession. As he prepares to kill her, Peter and Mantra psychically attack him, making him blind. Streamline and Vertex punch him down and then Ruby Fox, AKA Voltage blows him apart with an electric blast. They catch up with DJ Chill’s group and find Hotspur lying cold, shaking and paralysed. The Wyvern, who had apparently fled upon meeting the dinosaur, is fast returning. DJ Chill activates the bomb’s timer and they escape through a bridge as The Wyvern arrives at the bomb.

It goes off. There is a devastating explosion as the world ends.
