Axis Mundi: Alternative 23: Ruby tries to fry Maximan but he is too quick. He reaches the energy stream and starts to float upwards. Metamaid tells Peter that it’s okay - they stopped Alternative 230 from destruction - but Peter replies that the Lloigor didn’t need to destroy it. It would only ease their ascent but they could still reach Point Zenith without destroying #230.
The four-demensional dark gods start to manifest as giant shapes outside the tower as Maximan climbs higher. All the heroes start to panic, none of them sure what to do, until our quiffed and masked pop star superhero suggests they set off the Chaostructor bomb that was supposed to detonate in Alternative 230. Lux agrees with his plan, and they all go through the bridge to safety as the bomb times down. They call out to him “Zenith, hurry!” but the bridge closes leaving him alone with Maximan and the bomb. He picks it up, presses the button, and Alternative 23 explodes.
