8: Déja Vu - 2000AD prog 799

Black (I’ve been here before): Peter St John walks across a war-torn landscape filled with horrors and destruction: “I wish the sun would only rise. And then I realise that it has risen. And the sun is black...I’m sorry. Déja vu.”
Paraphrased from ‘Seizing the Fire’ by Dr Michael Peyne (Unpublished): Peyne recalls his own meeting with the Horus group just after the ‘war’ - he had Shockwave and Blaze with him. Lux thanked the old man for creating them all, and then invited the two girls to join them. They passed Zenith’s son into Lux’s hands as Lux explained to Peyne exactly who Horus are. He said they have taken over the world just as Peyne taught them to. He went on to explain that the serum used to create them had been designed from Nazi scientists, more specifically The Order of the Black Sun. The serum originated from the Many Angled Ones, and that is what they were. “We even fought the Lloigor without realising just what they were... It was us all along. We are, we were, we will be, the Lloigor.”
