Paraphrased from ‘Seizing the Fire’ by Dr Michael Peyne (Unpublished): By this point in Peyne’s journal, his writing has deteriorated into a childish scrawl. He’s finding it difficult to explain what he wants to say, and can’t remember much about what happened. He feels there is something important to remember, though - something about Peter St John visiting him before the ‘war’ broke out. He can’t remember, and is no longer interested in writing a journal when he could be playing instead.
Zenith gave out an immense blast of power, much stronger then even he thought he was capable of, and the Lloigor were blown away. Then Zenith’s son descended from the sky. Zenith has had a lot to take in within a small space of time; he didn’t even know he was a daddy, and then he came face to face with his Lloigor son. As the child opened his mouth it grew impossibly wide, and became the many-toothed dæmon that Zenith first met in 1989: Iok Sotot. Its teeth closed around Zenith and left him as a charred and broken skeleton.
