Location
- London Underground.
Team
Allies
- Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and the SAS.

- A full cthonic apparition of infernal extra-dimensional origin [Embankment U]

- "Something bleedin' 'orrible with tentacles" [Leicester Square U]
- Basic cthonic entities displaying full necroplasmic bodily regeneration [Holborn U]
Notes
- 3 entire trains lost between Russel Square and Holborn.
- SAS massacred at Covent Garden, Russell Square, Goodge Street & Holborn.
- Locus of main psychosphere disturbance at Holborn (triangle of Tottenham Court Rd., Russell Square & Chancery Lane).
- Cause: unexploded V-3 'hellbomb' from WWII which has opened a breach into Hell.
- Ravne closes the breach by throwing Miss Simmons in as a non-virginal sacrifice, whereupon she is possessed and returned back through the breach before it closes.
Abraxas Breakout [2003] from 'Breaking Out'
One tore Gavin apart! He was still screaming when...
Client
Location
- Wenley Moor, Yorkshire.
Team
Enemies
- 3 demonically possessed human beings (Mary, Mungo and Midge) set free by animal rights activists.
- Demon type: necrophage (corpse-eater); lower class of the middle order of inferaphim.
Notes
- Multiple initial casualties, including the animal rights activists responsible for the breakout and several security personnel.
- Mungo: destroyed by gunfire whilst attempting to leave the facility.
- Mary: tracked to an abattoir by Hannah and Jenny (who assumes demonic form and beheads it).
- Midge: tracked to a graveyard by Brand and Verse, where it is stabbed, shot, electrocuted and crushed.
Studio Built On Blood [2004] from 'Creepshow'
Client
- Veritas Property Development.
Location
- Ludgate Studios, England.
Team
Enemies
- Ludgate Studios (possessed by Viktor Drako, in the form of a portrait).
- Extra-dimensional manifestations of Ludgate Studios film monsters.
Notes
- Investigating disappearance of 2 nightwatchmen & 1 demolition contractor (few months prior) and numerous local urchins (last 25 years).
- Chapter, Verse, Ness & Brand attempt to exorcise both the studio and Jennifer Simmons at the same time using:
- The exorcism fails, as the Matheson Machine is destroyed by a falling gantry.
- The possessed film studio forces the team into seperate extra-dimensional hallucinatory realities where they must live out Ludgate movies for real.
- Chapter finds herself in Murders In The Rue Morgue but figures out the deception and breaks through to other movie realities to rescue the others.
- Brand has become Professor Quinterman in The Quinterman Experiment.
- Verse and Jenny almost battle each other in Empire Of Crimson.
- Ness is the only other team member who finds his own way out (of the remake of 'Caligari').
- The entire team end up in The House At World's End, battling every creature from every Ludgate movie.
- Jenny and Brand track down the locus of the disturbance.
- Brand realises that the locus is the portrait of Viktor Drako, and stabs it, thus releasing the team and ending the threat.
Nox Assignment [2005] from 'Safe House'
Client
- Vesper Nox [paying £500,000 pounds for one night's security]
Location
- Shropshire
Team
Enemies
- A Hidden Inquisition hit squad (including one Angel of Heaven)
Notes
- Ostensibly a bodyguard job for Vespor Nox, who believed that occult forces were going to assassinate him.
- Actually a trap set up by a Hidden Inquisition hit squad trying to assassinate Jennifer Simmons and those who harbour her.
- Verse & Jenny easily defeat the human attackers.
- Ness is instructed to guard Nox, but instead (possibly acting on the direct orders of Ethan Kostabi) hangs him, making it look like suicide.
- Nox pleads for his life: "I see things ... there's this guy on an island ... he's going to escape .. he's going to kill...". This is a clear reference to Michael Magister.
- Jenny does battle with an Angel of Heaven: she bites it's neck open, but is in turn impaled on it's Sword of Holy Fire. Ravne decapitates the wounded Angel with it's own sword, but this damages his hands.
Vesper Nox [deceased]
- Previously lead singer of rock band Nocturnax (with 16 platinum discs, 3 Emmys & 5 houses on 3 continents).
- Reputed drug habit of 6 figures per month.
- 2003: The band held a black mass in a recording studio (owned by Ethan Kostabi) in Berne, Switzerland. They raped a girl to death on top of a recording desk, sampled the screams & used them on their last album. Nox claims that Ethan Kostabi convinced them to do it.
- 2005: The other members of the band (Billy, Dekko & Hedge) have all been killed in mysterious circumstances. Nox believes that occult forces are killing them off and that he's next (his motivation for making the deal with The Hidden Inquisition that he thought would save him).
Safe House [2005] from 'Safe House'
Client
- 'A private client'. [Conjecture: actually Solomon Ravne, acting on information garnered from William McKenzie.]
Location
- London's East End: Safe House
Team
Enemies
- Golem
Notes
- Chapter finds a young boy's cap with the name David Smith.
- Brand notes that the dimensions of the house indicate a false wall in the cellar, which he demolishes.
- The cellar contains an inactive golem, the mummified remains of Emmanuel Konterman and equipment similar to that used by Ravne to 'regenerate'.
- The golem animates and attacks, but is defeated, at which point it bursts into flames. Some easy to carry equipment is rescued before the cellar is engulfed.
Cult Following [2005] from 'Northern Dark'
Client
- H.M. Government
Location
- Scotland
Team
Enemies
- The Children of Crom Cruach.
- Giant boar-headed, kilt-wearing humanoids with large axes.
Notes
- Initial problem is dead actors in remote locations (Perthshire & Inverness-Shire).
- Angus The Alchemist (Occultist; 'Resurrection Man's Rest', Fleshmarket Close, Edinburgh) indicates that The Children of Crom Cruach are responsible.
- An attempt is made on the life of Prince Charles (?) at Royal Deeside (Balmoral).
- The Children of Crom Cruach are tracked and executed (partially remotely by Michael Magister, who has masterminded the whole debacle).
Whitby Affair [2005] from 'Strange Bedfellows'
Vampire freaks gather to get drunk and laid in town made famous by Dracula.
Location
- Whitby, Yorkshire
Team
Enemies
- Empathetic vampire (maybe lower order desire demon). Feeds on emotions of the lonely and vulnerable.
Notes
- Chapter and Verse spent some time tracking their quarry to Whitby.
- Unsure of the demon's identity, Hannah acted as lonely, vulnerable bait, in order to get the demon to manifest.
- Once this was accomplished, Verse used a scoped rifle to execute the demon.
Kebab Caper [2006] from 'Changelings'
Man down! Ancient Hindu demon still on the loose!
Location
- Bradford.
Team
Enemies
- One summoned rakshasa.
Notes
- Rakshasa presumed summoned due to racial tensions.
- Chapter's gun proves ineffective, as do Verse's blessed crossbow bolts.
- Verse is left wounded and the Rakshasa killed by Jenny in her demon form.
