Grant Morrison is one of the foremost British writers currently working in comics today. His groundbreaking work on JLA, The Invisibles and Marvel Boy has elevated him to true fan-favourite status, and garnered huge amounts of critical acclaim. Morrison began writing commercially for Marvel UK on strips such as Doctor Who and Zoids, and 2000 AD on Judge Dredd and Zenith. It was as scriptwriter on DC's Doom Patrol that Morrison first caught the attention of the US comics-buying public. His reputation for innovative and unsettling storytelling was cemented by the bestselling graphic novel Batman: Arkham Asylum (with artist Dave McKean).
