The original superhero is back, back, back this Summer when X-Men director Bryan Singer's Superman Returns hits the big screen, starring Brandon Routh, Kate Bosworth and Kevin Spacey as arch-nemesis Lex Luthor. But now you can catch up on his earlier TV incarnations as Warner Home Video is releasing the complete first seasons of the Adventures of Superman on 23 January 2006 and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman on 6 February 2006 as DVD boxed sets!

The Adventures of Superman was originally aired in 1953 starring George Reeves as the Man of Steel, and this collection features twenty-six episodes plus retrospective documentary and commentaries alongside extremely rare archive material. Lois & Clark meanwhile was the snappy 1990s update, with Dean Cain as Clark Kent and Desperate Housewives' Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane, and the five-disc collector's set contains all twenty-one episodes plus commentaries!
