One of the biggest and most explosive blockbusters of 2007 was Michael Bay's Transformers, as the peace-loving Autobots and the evil Decepticons took their shapeshifting battle to Earth with typically bombastic results. It was released on DVD on 3 December 2007 by Paramount Home Entertainment as a two-disc Special Edition, complete with interviews with producer Steven Spielberg and in-depth documentaries on how the stunning special effects were achieved.
